Manage the assigned sales team, coverage area, and products, ensuring effective supervision and management of all aspects of the sales channel stream and area.
Responsibilities
Closely involved in sales target planning for all categories.
Customer relationship management.
Customer account review and strict follow-up on collections.
Regular customer business reviews.
Ensuring On-Shelf Availability (OSA).
Execution of promotional activities and interventions in stores.
Growing and developing existing customers and generating new business.
Forecasting and ensuring OTIF deliveries.
Handling a team of two salesmen and eight merchandisers.
Conducting market studies and developing sales plans.
Achievements
Responsible for developing and achieving sales targets.
Setting category-wise targets.
Timely collection of payments.
Monitoring competitor activities.
Motivating salesmen and merchandisers to maximize performance.
Negotiating and closing promotions and special activities with customers.
Ensuring payment collection with proper follow-up with finance and sales teams.
Planning and executing secondary activations and national promotions.
Planning extra outlet promotions.
Proper utilization of VGR budget and implementation of tactical activations.
Providing monthly task plans to sales teams and ensuring execution.
Developing sales growth plans and ensuring SKU distribution across outlets.
Training salesmen and merchandisers for maximum efficiency.
Work Experience & Requirements
1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the assigned market, managing MT (KA).
3 to 5 years’ experience in FMCG, preferably with food product sales.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or management-related field.
MBA degree in business or management-related field.
