Responsibilities

Manage the sales team, coverage area, and products, ensuring effective supervision of all aspects of the sales channel and area.
Participate in sales target planning across all categories.
Manage customer relationships, review accounts, and follow up on collections.
Conduct regular customer business reviews.
Ensure On Shelf Availability (OSA).
Execute promotional activities and interventions in stores.
Focus on growing existing customers and generating new business.
Forecast sales and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) deliveries.
Lead a team of two salesmen and eight merchandisers.
Conduct market studies and develop sales plans.

Achievements

Develop and achieve sales targets.
Set category-wise targets.
Ensure timely collection of payments.
Monitor competitor activities.
Motivate sales staff and merchandisers.
Negotiate and close promotions and special activities.
Follow up on payments with finance and sales teams.
Plan and execute secondary activations and national promotions.
Plan extra outlet promotions.
Utilize the VGR budget effectively and implement tactical activations.
Provide monthly task plans to sales teams.
Develop sales growth plans and ensure SKU distribution across outlets.
Train sales staff for maximum efficiency.

Work Experience & Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role managing key accounts in the assigned market.
3 to 5 years of experience in FMCG, preferably in food product sales.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or management-related field.
MBA in business or management-related field.
