Join us and be part of a company that values creativity, agility, and impactful work.We are looking for a Sales Manager North West Italy to join our team in Italy.Role / ResponsibilitiesIdentify and close sales opportunities in accordance with the company’s overall strategic plans and financial objectives in the regionDevelop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels partners, strategic accounts, EPC, installers and engineering firmActively pursue direct sales leads with installers, distributors, investors and utility companiesAssist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where requiredNurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at multiple levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for power conversion electronics for their installationsAssist the product management teams and the management to define and improve the product portfolio for use in the Italian market by regularly gathering feedback from customers, business partners and by closely monitoring industry trendsProvide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the Italian marketSuccessfully execute a brand and messaging strategy and act as brand ambassadorLiaise with the Italian team to ensure that sales targets are being defined and metLocationCountry: ItalyCity: MilanQualificationsA BA / BS in a related technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc.PV industry required in similar roles for manufacturers or distributors - minimum 3 yearsMinimum 5+ years' experience in technical sales and must have previous experience in the PV industryNetwork in the Italian PV industry is an advantageStrong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp termsProven track record of identifying, negotiating / converting and closing large dollar dealsAbility to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationshipsDemonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environmentA distinct customer service focusExcellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skillsExperience working for an international organization is preferredFluent in Italian & acceptable English (writing, speaking, listening)A hungry go-getter with a strong can-do and hands-on attitudeAn energetic, highly motivated and driven manager person who is willing to roll up his / her sleeves and do whatever is personally necessary to guarantee the success of the companyTeam Player!SolarEdge recognizes its talented and diverse workforce as a key competitive advantage.
