Responsibilities
Develop, offer and negotiate power plant projects on the European market.
Lead sales projects from pre-acquisition through acquisition, tendering, negotiation, handover to execution.
Generate profitable sales from new and existing customers in the Service market for heavy-duty gas turbines, steam turbines and generators in alignment with the company’s order intake, turnover, profit and margin goals.
Represent the sales projects and Ansaldo Energia externally and drive the sales projects along internal processes.
Lead and manage the sales process and contract negotiations for Service Contracts, upgrade projects and general sales.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
Represent Ansaldo at industry meetings, trade shows and conferences.
Gather market and competitive intelligence and commercial strategies.
Increase and maintain knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions and customer base.
Take an active part in improving and maintaining the processes and tools used in the activities.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in engineering or business administration along with experience in offering and selling large complex products or solutions.
Knowledge of power plants technology.
Extensive knowledge of the European energy landscape, including key industry players.
Reliable, creative, flexible and enthusiastic team player.
Ability to work well under pressure and in challenging situations.
Willing to travel frequently (up to 50% globally), also on short notice.
Excellent command of English.
Good degree of interpersonal skills and good communicator.
Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
