This is how we perform at our best and achieve greater success.The positionWe are currently looking for a Sales Engineer within our team in Italy, preferably based in Milano or Torino but this is not essential.Our new Sales Engineer Internal will be responsible for managing a focused selection of customers to complement our needs as a company as we grow in the test and measurement industry.Your role will be primarily aerospace, automotive and other industry-focused, also has the potential for application focused sales depending on knowledge and background.Your primary area of focus will be in data acquisition, software, sensors and services in targeted at automotive, aerospace and industry applications.We are looking for a knowledgeable Sales Engineer with a background in the Mechanical field.You will join our dedicated sales team supporting the Italian regional business. You will become part of the Italian and Spanish sales team, with 8 sales members and 5 Application Engineers.Primary ResponsibilitiesSales-oriented activities:Answering, qualifying and visiting potential/existing customers and generating enquiries through professional sales techniques using a consultative approach to get to customer concepts and demonstrating the unique strengths of working with HBKUsing appropriate hardware, information and materialsAcquiring new customers and supporting colleagues with specific product and technical knowledge – working as a team is importantPreparing quotations using CRM and price listsPreparing more detailed proposals from tender specificationsProviding feedback to the company in the form of reports and forecastsInvolvement in promotional and marketing activities in your areaGeneral assistance activities:Monthly ReportingTeam meetings via TeamsGeneral shared team activities in ItalyProfessional QualificationsYou will hold a Bachelors, Masters or equivalent degree in an engineering or a technically based discipline.Personal SkillsItalian as mother language and high level of English is needed.Good team-player approachWe offerYou will have the opportunity to further your career alongside some of the best and most passionate technology experts from around the world in a leading company within the test and measurement industry.
