Sales Engineer & Solution Architect
We are seeking a talented Sales Engineer & Solution Architect to act as the technical cornerstone of our sales process. This is a hybrid role for someone with a strong technical mindset and a passion for building customer relationships. You will be responsible for understanding our clients' deepest technical needs and architecting the perfect-fit solutions that drive both their success and our growth.
You will not just be selling a set of solutions; you will be a trusted advisor, designing and quantifying innovative solutions for new projects and identifying strategic upsell opportunities within our existing customer base.
What you will do
Architect & design solutions: Collaborate closely with (mainly) prospective and existing clients to analyze their business requirements, then design and propose robust, scalable technical solutions.
Drive technical sales: Lead technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to showcase the value and feasibility of our offerings.
Qualify and quantify opportunities: Meticulously qualify business opportunities from a technical perspective, and build compelling business cases by quantifying the ROI and impact of your proposed solutions.
Build & nurture relationships: Act as the primary technical liaison for key accounts, building trust and rapport with stakeholders ranging from engineers to C-level executives.
Develop sales & growth strategies: Partner with the sales team to develop effective strategies for penetrating new accounts and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities to grow existing ones.
Be the voice of the customer: Funnel critical customer feedback back to our Product and Engineering teams to help shape the future of our product roadmap.
What you bring
Proactivity!
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
3+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role such as Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or a similar field.
Proven ability to design and architect technical solutions to meet business needs.
A solid technical foundation in programming, artificial intelligence and data engineering / analytics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice-to-Have
Previous experience in a closing or quota-carrying role
Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
Experience working in the manufacturing industry
