About the role
We are currently looking for a SALES FINANCE CONTROLLER based in Milan, Italy.
Your responsibilities
Strong business partner with sales team to provide strong analytical view and support business decisions
Monitoring performance, and provide accurate and timely monthly variance analyses across P&L lines between actuals, budget, latest forecast and prior year by customer and brand
Being responsible for Trade Investment, RGM accountability understanding and driving P&L efficiencies, to drive business growth
Review P&L and balance sheet flux analysis, accounts reconciliation, working capital analysis/management
Participate in corporate planning and quarterly forecast exercises for both customers and brands
Safeguard integrity of financial reporting by ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place and operating effectively in accordance with corporate policies and procedures within its perimeter
Monitoring brand performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of variances vs. budget, forecast and prior year
Improving brand performance by analysing/evaluating ROI, pricing, and mix
Participate in cross-functional discussions and provide financial leadership to drive productivity initiatives and support operations management in the execution of business strategies
The experience we're looking for
Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA and /or CPA/CIMA is considered a plus
At least 2-3 years of experience in Sales controlling, and/or FP&A in large multinational company (FMCG preferred)
Excellent in Excel and hands-on working experience of SAP is a plus, PowerBi (plus) and SAC (plus)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, decision-making and analytical abilities, verbal and written communication skills
Ownership, independence, and fast-learner
Fluency in English (an International experience during the studies or work is highly valued, as well as a second foreign language)
Strong understanding of accounting theory, current accounting issues, and accounting systems
