Job Summary: Grade NF01. Sells general merchandise to customers and works as part of a sales team to provide excellent service.Duties and Responsibilities:Greets and engages customers, assists in merchandise selection, and suggests additional items.Interacts with customers and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner.Becomes knowledgeable about merchandise and communicates product information to customers.Ensures assigned areas are fully stocked and participates in department meetings to improve customer service.Completes sales transactions efficiently and handles customer returns and problems tactfully.Maintains a high level of awareness to deter theft and offers excellent customer service.Unpacks, stages, and moves merchandise, and assists in creating store displays and performing periodic inventories.Completes paperwork associated with merchandise inventory movement, customer returns, and cash register operation.Requirements: No experience required, high school graduate or equivalent preferred.
