Activities can be related to Project, System, Software, Hardware domains.Deliver safe solutions (Program and Projects)Key AccountabilitiesCoordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project / system / product as per Safety process defined in Signalling Safety InstructionPerform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspectiveDefine safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planningSupport tenders and/or RC teams to integrate product/system in projectsBuild the Safety Reports and/or the Safety CasesApply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / productOrganize and attend periodic Safety ReviewsDefend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow‑up action plans to close the findings of the assessorsManage (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources)If identified as Safety Leader for a Safety Issue, manage 8D steps as per processSupport actions contributing to close the findings of the assessors (Internal or External)Essential Skills & ExperiencePreferable:Mastering CENELEC Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards AREMA, IEEE, etc ) and safety methodology & concepts/principlesMandatory:Educational Requirements : University Degree level in Electronics/Telecommunications/Software Engineering/Computer science or equivalent)ItalianFluent EnglishCan be a beginner in safety but, depending on the domain, specific experience is required on system, data preparation, hardware or software domainBehavioural CompetenciesTeam playerProactive behaviorSense of anticipation and urgencyBe a rigorous and detail‑oriented individualPossess a strong work ethic and be task focused.
