GENERAL ROLE
The Retail Supply Planner contributes to the performance of the stores and the quality of service to our clients by ensuring a coherent assortment and the right level of stock in the stores of our region. He / She will be responsible for the replenishment strategy between the Local Distribution Center (LDC) and the stores, optimizing stock levels through reorders and stock rebalancing. The objective is to ensure the right product is available at the right time to support sales.
The Retail Supply Planner will be part of the Retail Merchandising team of Italy and will report to the Demand & Supply Planning Manager. He / She will work closely with the Retail Merchandising team, Operations, store stock managers, and logistics teams.
The network includes :
11 stores in Italy: Milan, Rome, Rome Jewelry, Florence, Venice, Turin, Padova, Bologne, Naples, Porto Cervo, Capri
1 store in Greece: Athens
The position is based in the head office in Milan.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Define and implement the replenishment strategy
Define the replenishment process per Métier and per store in collaboration with operations and in-store stock teams;
Set the optimal stock levels per SKU (min-max) to avoid stockouts and overstocking;
Coordinate daily with stakeholders to provide visibility on deliveries and stock status;
Share regular updates with the Demand & Supply Planning Manager and Retail Merchandising team, suggesting corrective actions (., rebalancing, reorders).
2. Monitor product life cycles
Liaise with Customer Service to ensure timely merchandise reception;
Manage calendars for product launches, store openings, and events;
Coordinate phase-out campaigns and destocking with Retail Merchandising and store teams.
3. Manage permanent product orders
Define min-max levels for Permanent Stocked Items (PSI) with the Retail Merchandising team;
Analyze performance and sales forecasts to adjust stock levels;
Support the buying process for Carried Over items (Porcelaine, Belts, Fashion Jewelry).
4. Support the transition from Push to Pull model
Act as the main contact for the European project team during the LDC implementation;
Translate market needs into new processes;
Collect feedback from stores and ensure their needs are addressed;
Participate in group projects (., Cockpit, SAP Retail) and contribute to performance analysis with supply insights.
PROFILE
Master’s degree in Business Management; specialization in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus;
4–6 years of experience in retail supply, product allocation, or logistics;
Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders;
Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented;
Capable of managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities;
Service-oriented and action-focused;
Fluent in Italian and English; French is an advantage.
