The Man category Merchandising Manager works closely with the General Merchandising Manager Europe & Middle-East on the European retail network. He / She ensures store assortments align with the budget and seasonal analysis. Coordinates and provides product division buying estimates in terms of SKU count per category. Participates in the buying plan definition process by category and store. Defines, proposes, and implements product assortments by cluster – validates final assortment and quantities.MISSIONS Provide continuous feedback to HQ on products, customer behavior, competitors, and business opportunities. Influences the sales plan definition by store for their category. Validates proposed assortments and defines quantities. Participates in the sales plan process by category and regional store. Defines, proposes, and implements product assortments by cluster – validates final assortment and quantities. Drives product assortment execution in stores. Provides weekly and monthly reports and actively participates in Business Reviews with HQ. Ensures continuous feedback on product performance, competition, and demand evolution. Enhances business and market knowledge through regular store presence. Increases client advisors’ competencies via training on selling techniques and propositions. Promotes and nurtures in-store category expertise as an active category ambassador. Ensures each store offers customers an effective presentation and experience of the category.PROFILE 5–7 years’ experience in Luxury product Merchandising with a focus on Retail; Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred. Knowledge of key industry players and strong fashion sense. Ability to understand current market trends and buying strategies. Excellent merchandising skills with attention to detail. Skills in sales and market data analysis. Effective communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English; Italian is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office tools.
