OverviewOur renowned AC Hotel by Marriott Milan Sesto, known for its contemporary and modern traditional cuisine and focus on high-quality ingredients, is seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to strengthen our kitchen brigade.This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who wishes to take on a key role, actively contribute to the evolution of our menu, and grow in a dynamic, high-level environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Executive ChefWork in close collaboration with the Executive Chef in the daily management of all kitchen operations, serving as their direct deputy in their absenceBrigade Management – supervise, train, and motivate the chefs and kitchen staff (Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs), ensuring an efficient and organized workflow during serviceMenu Development and Creation – actively participate in the research and development of new dishes, experiment with new techniques, and contribute to menu planning, bringing creativity and innovationQuality and Standards Control – ensure every dish meets the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation, maintaining impeccable consistencyOrdering and Inventory Management – collaborate on managing supplier orders, stock control, and checking the quality of incoming raw materials, while optimizing food costsHACCP Compliance – play a key role in implementing and monitoring health and safety regulations in the kitchenQualificationsAt least 5 years of experience in professional, structured kitchens, with a minimum of 2 years in a position of responsibility (e.g., Sous Chef or experienced Chef de Partie)Technical Skills – deep knowledge of modern and traditional cooking techniques, pastry fundamentals, and food preservation methodsLeadership Skills – natural ability to lead and inspire a team, managing the pressure of service with calm and professionalismCreativity and Passion – true passion for culinary arts, refined palate, and a constant desire to experiment and improveOrganizational Skills – excellent planning and time-management abilities essential for coordinating the kitchen line and food preparationQualifications: a diploma from a culinary institute or equivalent specialized courses is preferredWhat We OfferA key role within a recognized kitchenA permanent contract with a competitive salary package, commensurate with experienceThe opportunity to work closely with a talented Executive Chef and contribute to our culinary identityA professional environment that values growth and continuous learningAre you ready to take your career to the next level?Pay: €30,000.00 - €33,000.00 per yearLanguageEnglish (required)Application Deadline: 10/09/2025Expected Start Date: 14/09/2025
