Lenze is a leading automation specialist and supports mechanical engineering with its products and services in the design of sustainable production and material flow processes.For more than 75 years, the company has set the pace in automation and is a strong partner at the side of its customers from the plant and mechanical engineering sector.For Lenze Selection - Lenze business segment for mechanical drive components (lenze-selection.com), we are searching for a Sales Engineer, based in Italy | North-East area, to reinforce the team and to expand the market share.Position Summary:Expand Lenze Selection’s market share in Italy promoting products through Direct Sales, Agents and Distribution. Update the local organization on product dynamics taking care of the alignment among functions and Lenze Selection’s global business strategy.Key Responsibilities:Promote Lenze Selection products through Direct Sales, Agents and Distribution, ensuring sales, profitability and customers satisfactionBoost relationships with existing clients and develop potential clients to expand market shareRecognize products’ evolution at global level, share info with local sales network and transform local demand into solutionsShare with local sales team, and Lenze Selection network significant and success applicationsIn collaboration with Marketing Dept., share and verify technical and commercial information and support marketing activities for Italian marketResponsible for defining and checking Target and Forecast for the referred competence area, monitor systematically KPIs and recommend improving actionsResponsible for ensuring quality and timeliness of data entered in CRMQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent 3+ years of experience in Mechanical EngineeringAt least about 3 years’ experience in Sales inside technical area or as Area Manager, preferably in Multinational Companies active in mechanical businessStrong Technical skills in drive components for machines and installations (brakes, clutches, couplings, torque limiters, geared motors, gearboxes)Sales knowledge, negotiation techniques and customer orientationStrong communication, interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spiritFocused and goal-orientedLenze is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
