The role of the Resort Assistant Co-ordinator is an integral and varied role and assists in every aspect of the Interski operations. It includes duties / tasks conducted by the Resort Assistant plus some additional duties / tasks of a team leader which include creating a rota, briefings with your team, supporting supervisors and ensuring your team are performing well.We require our Resort Assistant Co-ordinator to be an all-rounder, happy to be client facing and just as happy to be working in the background. We require our Resort Assistant Co-ordinator to be flexible and adaptable as changes often occur when working in an operational environment and will need to have a can do, friendly, proactive, and positive outlook.You MUST hold a full valid driver’s licence with driving experience and must be willing to drive a manual vehicle, 2-seater to 9-seater vehicles. Remember, you would be working in the Alps therefore you must be prepared to drive in all weather conditions.Team leaders are expected to remain available to both their team and clients at all times, primarily via phone, to provide support and guidance should any issues arise in resort—attending in person if the situation requires it, regardless of the time of day or night.Given the seasonal nature of the role, team members are expected to work up to a five-month period with one scheduled day off per week. The workdays can be long and physically demanding, often in varying weather conditions. As such, we value individuals who demonstrate resilience, a positive mindset, and a proactive approach to maintaining their mental and physical wellbeing throughout the season.REQUIREMENTSCriminal Record Disclosure / DBS / Police Check - ESSENTIALTeam leader experience – DESIRABLEOver 21 years old – DESIRABLEDriver’s licence & willingness to drive manual vehicles in resort (2-seater / 5-seater / 9-seater) –ESSENTIALFluent in English - ESSENTIALWillingness to learn Italian / French (Aosta Valley) – DESIRABLEKEY RESPONSIBILITIESAttend weekly valley meetingCreation of the weekly rota through liaising with all Aosta / Pila Supervisors to establish the Resort assistant requirements from all departmentsDaily briefings with your teamEnsuring your team is carrying out duties / tasksSupporting your teamSki HireAssisting in ski hire on arrivals day (fitting boots, poles, skis etc)Office Day (normally this will fall on Thursday after the supervisors have completed their panning for the coming week)On HillWelcoming clients at the gondola stationLiaise with Snowsports Operations Supervisor and oversee school arrivals / departures to check out / check in areaAdvising clients to keep safe when crossing the pisteAssisting clients on chairlifts on the first day or twoResponding to WhatsApp whilst on the hill which could be for a change of equipment.
