We were meant to fly.As Resident Engine Field Service Representative Military Aircraft/Helicopter Engine-Northern Italy you will work within the Military Customer Support Organization and you will be located at Customer’s airbase for a period according to contract conditions between Customer and Avio Aero.This role will require your permanent presence at Customer’s military base supporting the customer, providing technical and logistic support to the engine fleet installed on the aircraft/helicopters.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesProvide an high-level of technical assistance regarding the operation of the power plantManage, as primary interface, any concerns and technical evidences arising from maintenance activities on engines at Customer premisesLead and ensure the effective exchange of information between the Customer and Avio Aero, in particular with the System Engineer, Program Manager and Fleet Manager, concerning the management of engine programLiaise with Customer operational department to ensure timely and effective response to technical issuesSupport System Engineers in problem identification and possible solutions to support the military customer in the decision whether to remove an engine from service, after evaluating all possible troubleshooting operations in order to solve the problem "on-field”Support and arrange the receiving of engines, accessories and engibe parts to and from Company sitesEnsure monitoring, recording and updating of the availability and the status of the engine fleetBe accountable to support military customer in planning the maintenance inspectionsLead the support to military customer on interpretation and application of technical publications and Service Bulletins/PTAs (Prescrizione Tecnica Apllicativa), advice on engine operability, assistance in solving the problems that may arise during training, maintenance or operational activitiesSupport military customer on PTAs embodiment, updating of the engine configuration related to the activities accomplished at the Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance LevelsLiaise with the Fleet Manager on the availability of engine parts and accessories at the customer warehouse, to support the Organizational and Intermediate Maintenance Levels activity at the military customer site and Depot Maintenance Level at the Avio Avio PlantSupport the military customer in updating the technical documentation (Engine Logbook, Accessories Log Card, PTAs, Compliance Status, etc.)Ensure support on the management and use of the engine Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) as prescribed by the applicable Technical PublicationsManage, coordinate and arrange any Avio Aero technical intervention for schedule and unscheduled maintenance activitiesLiaise with the Customer in coordination with Avio Aero the service data collection for engine and life limited partsAutonomously executes, as necessary, maintenance operations tasks and makes evaluations of the collected resultsAct as a Certifying Staff related to engine maintenance activitiesQualifications/RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar field or a technical High School Diploma with previous solid experience in similar roleProven knowledge of turboshaft and turboprop engines, accessories, installations, control and monitoring systems as well as interfaces with airframeAbility to read and understand electrical and mechanical scheme of complex equipmentKnowledge of configuration control rules, processes and proceduresKnowledge of Engine Logbook for consultation and analysis of Engine and Engine Parts dataAbility to read and understand Nomenclature Catalogues, engine Technical Publications, regulations and applicable procedures (maintenance manuals, parts catalog, calibration procedures) as well as Change Proposal, Technical disposition and Repair Schemes/Instruction;Ability to evaluate area of improvement of existing maintenance proceduresStrong MS Office knowledgeStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong Customer mindsetEligible for NATO Security Clearance;Fluent Italian and EnglishHolder of EMAR 66 / AER(EP).P-66 MILITARY AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE LICENCE (B1/C) or EASA equivalentWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsKnowledge of T700 and AE2100 engines, accessories, installations, control and monitoring systems as well as interfaces with airframe is a plusAbility to document, plan, market, and execute programsPrior experience working in the military environmentAbility to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impactAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyWhat We OfferSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes hybrid work and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
