Description of the research activity:
The holder of research contract will be involved in the development of the laboratory for testing energy carriers and electrical storage systems, with particular focus on batteries and technologies for the use of green hydrogen. He/she will support the preparation of tender documents for the purchase of equipment, the adaptation of laboratory spaces, as well as the installation and commissioning of instruments (battery cell cyclers, electrolysers, hydrogen storage systems and fuel cells). He/she will also participate in preliminary tests for the characterisation of batteries and devices for the hydrogen value chain, validate simulation models of the tested systems, and propose innovative solutions, thereby contributing to the optimisation of storage systems for automotive and stationary applications. In addition, the holder of research contract will provide support in drafting project reports, disseminating results, and organising project events.
