Descrizione Lavoro
IIGM is located at the FPO IRCCS Candiolo Cancer Institute, Candiolo Turin - Italy). The main goal of FPO IRCCS Candiolo (https://www.irccs.com/en) and IIGM (https://www.iigm.it/unita/immunoregolazione) is to foster and develop excellence in research and education, with special reference to cancer genomic variability and immunology. The institute provides high-level scientific education for students and post-doctoral fellows, and access to state-of-the-art research facilities and international networks.Gender Equality Plan: diversity is our legacy and our future. Be part of it. At IIGM diversity is an integral part of our culture and identity and for this we have adopted a plan for gender equality (GEP). We promote diversity and inclusion because we recognize that they are a source of strength and competitive advantage.Posizione:The Giovanni Armenise-Harvard laboratory of Immunity and Cancer Lab, at the Italian Institute for Genomic Medicine (IIGM) and IRCCS FPO Candiolo (Turin), Italy, is seeking for highly motivated candidates at all level of seniority (postgraduate, PhD, postdoc) in immunology and epigenetics in the context of cancer.Research: The lab addresses fundamental aspects of T lymphocyte responses, related to memory T cell differentiation and long-term protective immunity. Our research aims to understand how T lymphocytes integrate complex environmental stimuli and translate these signals into specific epigenetic and differentiation programs. The research’s goal is to use this knowledge to develop novel strategies for the prevention and treatment of cancer, in the field of cancer immunotherapy and vaccine development. We are a dynamic and multidisciplinary group with national and international collaborations. We combine a variety of approaches, including genetic and genomic techniques, high throughput cell-based assays and tissue spatial organization, next generation sequencing of RNA and epigenetics marks, in both translational and of human cancer biology.Requisiti:Qualifications and requirements:basic knowledge in immunology, molecular biology, epigenetics is an advantage;fluent in spoken and written English;good communication skills and self-motivationAltre informazioni:Positions: no. 02Offered contract: temporary contract (12 months), renewable up to 3 yearsMandatory documents to be included to apply for this position:a cover letter (in English), addressed to Dr. Luigia Pace, describing research experience, interests, motivations;CV (in English) and contact information of two referencesIncomplete applications will not be processedReferences: Brasu N., Nature Immunology 2022, D’Alise M., Science Translat.
