The laboratory investigates key aspects of drug tolerance and its involvement in tumor recurrence, with a focus on a subset of cancer cells that can survive therapy by entering a reversible, slow-proliferative state that is challenging to target with standard treatments. The project aims to identify the underlying biological mechanisms and apply research findings to develop potential therapeutic strategies.
