Position Overview
Research Assistant II in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (21100). To commence in December for one year, with possibility of renewal.
Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in biological or medical sciences, or related discipline.
Interest in human genomics and/or clinically oriented translational research.
Prior experience with cell culture, patient-derived cells or iPSC-differentiated cell types (advantage).
Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, eager to learn, responsible, able to work both independently and in a team.
Fluent in written and spoken English and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct laboratory work and contribute to multi-omics research projects under supervision of Dr. Brian Chung.
Build foundation in essential genomics research skills while contributing to high‑impact studies.
Prospects to co‑author publications and present findings at international conferences.
