The Regional Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth through effective leadership and management of the sales team for the SEEMEA region. This role requires a strategic mindset to manage long‑term sales strategies while achieving short‑term sales targets. The Regional Sales Director will oversee hiring, coaching, and retaining top sales talent, and will work closely with other departments to refine sales strategies and processes.
Primary Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Sales Executives, Account Managers, and/or other revenue professionals
Hire, onboard, coach, develop, motivate, and retain top‑performing sales professionals
Drive revenue generation by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business deals
Maintain and update a sales playbook to reflect evolving business needs and strategies
Utilize a consultative selling approach to understand and address client needs
Present actionable data to C‑level executives in a clear and succinct manner
Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation campaigns and processes
Manage multiple responsibilities including sales management, strategy development, and lead generation
Ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team and across global offices
Monitor sales metrics and performance to ensure team success

Requirements

10+ years of technology sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or software company
Experience in B2B software sales
Must be fluent in Italian and English
Proven experience in Human Resources/Learning Technology industry
Proven experience leading and developing sales teams
Proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets
Excellent oral and written English communication skills
Strong use of insights and data‑driven decision making to inform the sales process
Ability and willingness to travel both nationally and internationally up to 30%
