The Regional Market Access Lead will report directly to the Market Access, Policy and Communications Director and will use her/his knowledge to define and integrate strategies, draft action plans and deliver consistent initiatives to extend and maintain optimal access to the market for our product portfolio, in agreement with local and headquarters business priorities and guidelines. Design access solutions to improve healthcare services creating value and profitability. The position can be located anywhere in Italy.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of two RAMs operating in the center and in the south of Italy and together with them cover the entire national territoryDevelopment and strengthening steady interactions with institutional opinion leaders and decision-makers both at a regional and local level.According to an activity based on a cross-functional approach, she/he establishes close contacts of cooperation and alignment with other departments of the company as well as headquarters.Mapping, planning and management of institutional relations with critical decision makers, translating analyses of complex scenarios into concrete opportunities according to strategic priorities.Monitor and guarantee the implementation of key access activities within each prioritized Region, identifying opportunities and risks and finally propose coordinated plans aligned with corporate business priorities.Provide inputs and collaboration with Value Access & Pricing team as well as strategic and tactic suggestions to each business area to identify successful practices to be implemented and extended in specific Regions.Develop ideas, lead/co-lead complex projects across business units, develop and manage plans to achieve objectives.Develop and maintain the public and private payer value proposition.Translate customer insights into knowledge and expertise that will optimize product reimbursement plans.Lead cross-functional teams to develop regional market access priorities/strategies and ensure its successful execution.Deliver recommendations relating to regional access strategies, payer strategy, local pricing and reimbursement, evidence generation, data collection and value proposition, taking into consideration market archetype and lifecycle considerations.Develop effective processes and ways of working to support collaboration with key internal stakeholder groups such as medical and health outcomes.Required Education, Experience, And SkillsAt least 5 years working experience in pharmaceutical companies or other related agencies.People management experienceExtensive knowledge, with particular focus on corporate business areas such as biosimilars, fertility, migraine and medical devices and experience in creating access strategies and regional action plans within the Italian health system.Demonstrated project leadership, managing workstreams and small teams of cross-functional colleagues with varying backgrounds and skillsets.Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders without direct authority.Understanding of marketing and financial working methods and measuresDemonstrated strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop recommendations for decision-making or action.Ability to partner and work as a team in a highly matrix environmentAbility to design business presentation, also through a proficient use of excel and power point.Ability to exploit every single opportunity offered by regulatory and health authorities at local level through a remarkable negotiation expertise with the purpose of protecting and implementing the business.Ability to draw up a BDGT appropriate to potential activities on the territory and continuous monitoring of the same always in accordance with the strategies and corporate priorities.Proven skills in people management.Leads Rams in terms of priorities,strategies and action plans’delivery in line with the company’s goals.Assist colleagues on any issues by providing advice or connecting with experts as appropriate.Work efficiently and collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment with Value Access & Pricing Lead.Strong command of English, spoken and writtenPreferred Education, Experience, And SkillsA degree in scientific disciplines (or secondarily in economics) is preferred.A master in healthcare management or a good knowledge of Health Economics, Outcomes Research, and HTA is certainly an appropriate requirementOrganon delivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
