Role Overview
You are a key member of the Market Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Head of Maintenance & Repair (M&R) and working closely with the Head of Market (Station Operations).
Your mission: drive repair quality, cost efficiency, and vehicle availability across the market – keeping our fleet running smoothly and our operations performing at their best.
Responsibilities

Own the M&R budget and ensure cost‑efficient, high‑quality repairs across the market, covering Repair Strategy, Workshop Network, Spare Parts Inventory.
Define repair strategies per vehicle based on damage reports and operational priorities.
Maintain strong vehicle availability by coordinating workshop capacity, scheduling, and spare parts flow.
Build and optimise the internal and external workshop network to improve turnaround times and cost efficiency.
Lead and develop station repair teams, ensuring consistent performance and technical capability, damage detection rates, and parts inventory.
Track key KPIs such as repair cost, time, damage detection accuracy to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology or similar technical field.
8+ years of experience in fleet maintenance, repair or workshop management.
3+ years of direct people management experience, preferably in a technical and operational environment.
Strong analytical and budgeting skills with a focus on efficiency and quality.
Confident leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment; travel to internal stations and external vendors required.
Proficient in maintenance or fleet management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
