About the RoleWe are currently looking for a talented person to work in a highly dynamic and international environment. You will be part of the Health & Nutrition Department team as an R&D Product Nutrition specialist.
ResponsibilitiesProvide and manage Nutritional Support to the sweet package food categories assuring integrity of scientific information.Drive innovation and reformulation propositions aligned to scientific evidence and Public Health guidelines.Develop nutritional guidelines for innovation and product communication in different categories and fields.Assess scientific and nutritional robustness for product claims, define new product serving size and their best positioning.Provide guidance to cross-functional partners on nutrition subjects and share relevant scientific findings through inductions and ad hoc trainings.Identify and solve product problems related to specific ingredients, nutritional composition and communication.Create nutritional scientific dossiers for specific ingredients or nutritional components in a de-risking perspective.Collaborate with stakeholders within Ferrero and outside; work in cross-functional teams with Food Law, Food Regulatory, Marketing, Institutional Affairs and R&D to create a complete overview of food products.Engage external Key Opinion Leaders, Universities and Research Centers as needed to build a scientific foundation for product communication and formulation.Provide support to scientific publications and participate in international congresses; keep up with scientific and nutritional advances in different geographies.
QualificationsMaster’s degree in Food Science and Technologies, Biology or related field. A PhD in these areas is a significant advantage.Academic knowledge of food ingredients, nutrition and metabolism; ability to manage multiple projects with timelines and priorities.Previous professional experience in the food industry is a plus.Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional and international teams.Ability to thrive in a dynamic and complex work environment; demonstrated resilience and determination to achieve goals.Proficiency in data analysis to inform decision-making.High fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
