Position Overview
The Logistics Financial Analyst will assist the Senior Manager, Logistics Finance and team in updating, analyzing and distributing key Supply Chain reports. The analyst's focus will be on expanding the current reporting process, supporting management in controlling expense through analysis, ensure correct ledger coding of expense and development of strategies for process improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist Financial management team in preparing departmental operating expense reports.
Create and update monthly labor and departmental CPU reports.
Assist financial management team with budgeting, reporting and process improvements.
Participation in monthly close process (reclassifications, accruals, etc.), ensuring proper entries are recorded by Corporate Accounting.
Performs ad hoc analyses, prepares reports and presentations, and makes recommendations to finance partners.
Partnering with 3PL & internal Ralph Lauren teams
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Knowledge and/or Key Competencies preferred
Advanced PC skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Knowledge and familiarity with retail distribution operations and terminology is a plus
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Large volume data management skills required
Uses effective communication skills. Candid, clear and concise in communication. Effectively matches style, tone, and method to audience. Connects with intended audience. Manages communication and feedback within the organization
Education and experience preferred
B.A. / B.S. Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting and / or equivalent work experience
Fluent English and Italian speaker
Additional software experience preferred : Hyperion Essbase, SAP, Adaptive Insights, BI tools
Retail / Distribution / Manufacturing in a multinational company experience preferred
Up to 4 years of experience required preferably in the above area
