R&D Process Development Chemist - Italy (Mortara - PV)Process Development Team acts as a bridge between R&D and Operations, aiming to study, test, and develop processes for safe and efficient scale-up of new products, implementing consistent and optimized operations.We seek an enthusiastic and passionate industrial chemist ready to work as a change agent, introducing and improving workflows and procedures. The ideal candidate will handle challenging projects related to chemistry and processability, from kilo-lab to manufacturing scale.Responsibilities include:Managing the scale-up of new synthesis processes, transforming laboratory techniques into production-like processes, and identifying suitable operating procedures, equipment, and pilot plant configurations for smooth, safe, and rapid scale-up.Collaborating with R&D Chemists and the Production Team to develop scalable chemical processes, identifying critical processing steps and parameters, considering equipment limitations, supporting new investment projects, and working closely with safety teams to ensure safe transfer and operation of processes.Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supplying representative samples for market growth, supporting industrialization, and preparing technology transfer documentation for seamless process implementation.We value innovation and continuous improvement to maintain our technological leadership, seeking candidates who care about processes and products and are eager to support our GoGrowGreen strategy.About us:We are a leading UV technology company, producing raw materials for coatings, adhesives, lacquers, and paints that harden using UV. This role is based in Italy, reporting directly to the EMEA R&D Process Development Manager.Candidate profile:Experienced Industrial Chemist with proven success in fine chemicals scale-up from bench to manufacturing.Problem-solver with a technical mindset, curiosity about chemistry and processes.Strong understanding of organic chemistry, laboratory techniques, and process physics, with excellent data analysis skills.Knowledge of new technologies, with ability to propose process improvements, including literature review and patent searches.Flexible and dynamic, capable of working independently or in a team, with openness to work in different locations during product launches.Fluent in Italian and English to operate effectively in our international environment.What we offer:A challenging environment that fosters learning and growth, with a diverse team and a clear vision.
