We make what matters work.Eaton’s Mobility Groupis currently seeking aQuality Engineer – Customer Service to join our Bosconero valves plant. This role will report directly to the Plant Quality Manager and will be responsible for: planning, coordinating and supervising all the customer quality related activities and acting as the customer representative in the organization.What you’ll do:Provide general Customer Support (process, product, quality)Proactively work with customer and plant to anticipate and address problems and issues before they escalateMaintain customer relationships by frequently proactively visiting all customer facilities in regional European area.Support CRR reviews and work on improving Customer RelationshipsSupport Plant requested changes (SREA, PTR, etc..)Support New Product Launch (primary support plant)Provide Warranty Analysis Feedback and organize collection of warranty partsPerform reactive customer complaint support (first 8 hours)Initially analyze parts and assess situations pertinent to the resolution of the customer concernSupport European Vehicle plants during implementation of containment, corrective and preventative activities based on customer complaintsSupport non EMEAVG with customer base in EMEAProvide weekly reports, providing customer updates, disruptions (Eaton and others), and competitor information.Develop and maintain quarterly a customer contact list, name, title, phone numbers, and next level supervisorParticipate in Fresh Eye Audits (FEA) to improve overall quality in plants and support locationsQualifications:Master degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent1-2 year in Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Tier 1 experience in Manufacturing, Quality or EngineeringSkills:Knowledge of IATF 16949, Problem Solving tools and methodsFluent in English and ItalianHighly effective Interpersonal skills#LI-EC1What we offer:Competitive compensation and benefits packageChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative team in an international environmentWe care about Inclusion and diversity, and we care about you– in Eaton we have several initiatives celebrating diversity and making our daily life more inclusiveWe make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possibleWe make your wellbeing matter – we offer Health Insurance Plan (MetaSalute) and a Company Welfare plan for all Eaton Employees, we have also an Internal quality canteen with healthy food.We make your growth matter – we invest in our employee for the long term with annual performance & Development reviews.We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people’s lives and the environment through power management technologies.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
