OverviewQuality Assurance Tech at Amazon SFT, test Seller facing large scale applications and products at the user level, both manually and with automated tools. They are excellent individual contributors capable of taking up tasks from start to completion, with guidance. QAT would be responsible for understanding the features and components and detailed functional requirements well enough, coming up with the test cases with some guidance, test execution and reporting with high bar on quality. QATs are technically savvy in use of software, computers and devices, runs automated scripts, analyzes failures, support automation, can install and configure software, can use debug settings, have technical ability to gather logs, traces, etc. to add to bug reports when provided with instructions. They assist developers or other testers and maintain a high quality test environment, recommends improvements to SOPs, tools and metrics.

Basic QualificationsBS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical educationGood analytical ability and QA acumenAbility to understand technical specifications and analyze log filesKnowledge of QA methodology and tools
Preferred QualificationsPreferably, have experience in Java/C++/Perl/Python based automation and/or user-level automation tools such as Selenium/Web Driver
