OverviewWe are looking to hire an experienced QA Engineer characterized by independence, self-organization, and the ability to work in an international team. The ideal candidate is ready for long-term cooperation, open to new technologies, curious about the world, and has a good sense of humor.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with customers and team members to review and analyze technical specifications.Validate software produced by developers to ensure high quality and business value.Develop and ensure adherence to technical best practices.Define QA processes and tools for both internal teams and customer representatives.Conduct manual and automated tests, analyze results, and validate non-functional requirements.Identify, analyze, and report problems.Coach and mentor other QA team members.Document and share best practices across project teams.Qualifications3+ years of experience with Agile software development processes.Strong knowledge of testing techniques and practices.Good diagnostics and debugging skills.Basic understanding of software architecture.Experience with tools that enhance content, structure, quality, and efficiency.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Fluent in English.Nice to have:Experience as a software tester on successful projects.Experience with automation frameworks, scripting languages, and OOP.Academic background in IT.Software testing certifications like ISTQB or BBST.About usWe are a passionate team based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, helping startups and large companies through full-cycle services including consultancy, architecture, development, QA, and maintenance.
