Proposal Engineer carries out most of its activities during the offer phase, working in close collaboration with the Technical Engineer and RSM, acting as the main customer reference.ResponsibilitiesIncluding but not limited to:Customer Technical Specification and MR Analysis (received from Sales Team)Management of Customer queries (deviations and clarifications)Collaboration with Technical Engineers for the Buy Out ItemsParticipation in technical alignment meeting/call, with possible presence at customer site.Complete definition of the cost associated with all offered itemsDefinition of pricing, based on the indications of Project/Proposal Manager and Sales TeamPreparation of the "offer package", including all relevant attachments.Checking coherence of the supply scope of the PO received from the Customer vs the latest submitted quote.Support the PE and PM during internal and Customer Kick Off Meeting (KOM)Salesforce and DOA managementThe above activities can be referred both to Budget and Firm QuotationsQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Junior experience in engineering or development. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Knowledge of English language. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is a plus.Computer Skills:Database, Development, Order Processing, Project Management, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, SAP.
