PROJECT MANAGER PHOTOVOLTAIC role at Tailor&Fox - Your HR Business Partner
Our client is the Italian Branch of a European Multinational Company service provider for renewable assets, with a strong presence in the Solar Market, focusing mainly in the European market. To strengthen its structure while enhancing its presence in the Italian market, it has commissioned us to search for a PROJECT MANAGER PHOTOVOLTAIC.
This full-time position calls for a talented Project Manager to carry out a wide range of renewable projects, including revamping and repowering of photovoltaic power plants. This position foresees support from the Milan (Italy) administrative office to staff at all organizational levels involved in an ambitious growing environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor, track and control the scope, program, budget, and project team organization of revamping and repowering PV / Solar projects.
Lead, manage and coordinate integrated working of project execution workstreams including construction management, technical management, procurement, project controls, and HSE.
Provide clear and concise status reporting regarding project planning, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues.
Manage contracts, claims and change orders with a pragmatic problem-solving approach.
Ensure compliance with project documentation of operational requirements.
Manage project compliance with applicable laws, regulations, codes and standards.
Manage communication between the project parties: internal & external stakeholders, sub-contractors, etc.
Ensure high-quality and standard achievement throughout the full project plan.
Lead a cross-functional team and deliver parallel projects against agreed milestones.
Qualifications
Graduate degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. Knowledge of Italian electrical normative is a big advantage.
At least 3 years of experience in photovoltaics.
Advanced usage of CAD for power plant design activities. Knowledge of PVSyst is a plus.
Knowledge of PV systems, KPIs and engineering economics, equipment and technologies.
Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills in Italian and English.
Strong organizational skills, ability to track and juggle multiple tasks with limited directives.
Proactivity and flexibility with a horizontal interest for innovative solutions.
Project management interest; experience is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Office package.
