The Project Manager will lead a cross-functional team to ensure engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain validation targets are met for each project change.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the project in accordance with company procedures;
Implementing the Project Execution Plan, including quality, safety, cost, time, and resources;
Conducting effective project meetings with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong business relationships;
Project reporting and status updates;
Managing subcontractors for procurement and on-site erection;
Assessing project exposure and risks (Risk Management Process);
Representing the company in front of clients, licensors, and partners, managing contractual aspects and negotiating change orders;
Coordinating engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction activities to meet contractual goals;
Planning and organizing site start-up activities in coordination with the Operations and Site Managers;
Managing claims prevention with customers and suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
Leading the project team to achieve safety, time, performance, quality, and cost targets;
Developing and managing the Project Executive Budget in collaboration with BU Management;
Overseeing project P&L and ensuring profitability and cash flow;
Managing change orders, including identification, submission, approval, and administration;
Monitoring project progress through periodic reports, identifying delays, implementing corrective actions, and verifying their execution.
Candidate profile:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Management, Electronic, or Automation);
At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in international turnkey, EPCM, or ESS projects (>10 M€) in the steel and metal industry;
Knowledge of commercial principles, legislation, and standards;
Proficiency with advanced PC tools, including Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor;
Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability to challenging environments;
Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
Willingness to travel.
