LTH-Baas provides engineering, prefabrication, and installation services for the marine and offshore sectors, specializing in:
HVAC and ventilation systems
Piping and mechanical works (steel, CuNiFe, stainless, Duplex)
Exhaust and Scrubber systems (AAQS, DeSOx, EGCS)
Electrical and automation systems
Steel structures and foundations
Interior outfitting and accommodation areas
Our teams operate both on shipyards and retrofit projects worldwide delivering integrated solutions for cruise vessels, offshore platforms, and naval ships.
✈ Travel: Regular travel to shipyards and retrofit sites across Europe and beyond
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams (HVAC, piping, steel, interior, electrical)
Manage the full project lifecycle – engineering, planning, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning
Review and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and electrical schematics
Monitor budget, timeline, and resource allocation, ensuring project objectives are achieved
Liaise with clients, shipyards, suppliers, and subcontractors on both technical and commercial matters
Supervise onboard installation works, perform site inspections, and prepare progress and status reports
Ensure HSE, class, and quality compliance according to international standards (DNV, RINA, LR)
Support preparation of technical documentation, cost estimates, and project reports
Qualifications
✅ Technical or Engineering background – Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Naval
✅ Proven experience in marine, offshore, or industrial construction
✅ Solid knowledge of shipbuilding systems, including HVAC, piping, electrical, and scrubber installations
✅ Familiar with AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Project, and standard shipyard documentation practices
✅ Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
✅ Fluent in English (Italian preferred; other EU languages an advantage)
✅ Availability for international travel and site coordination
