Job summary / Role description:Within the project organization, the role reporting to the Project Director (or Project Manager) shall ensure the compliance of all Project activities involving export, re-export, transferring, and brokering of goods, software, and technologies with applicable export control, trade, and sanctions laws and regulations.Key Activities & Responsibilities :During the Project lifecycle, the Project Export Compliance Officer shall :Identify risks and vulnerabilities related to export, re-export, transferring, and brokering of goods, software, and technologies;Prepare the Project export compliance plan to mitigate these risks;Coordinate involved Project Functions (e.g., procurement, logistics, engineering, contract management, project control, project management, finance) regarding all Export Compliance matters and supervise the preparation and submission of authorization applications, liaising with authorities to obtain approvals;Obtain legal and technical advice on export, re-export, transferring, and brokering activities as required;Ensure proper and efficient filing of Export Compliance documentation;Prepare periodic reports on Export Compliance and related activities.Personal Attributes :Minimum 5 years of experience;Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
