The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and qualification of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and HVAC systems for aerospace applications.This role involves managing the full product development lifecycle, from technical proposals through to production support, with regular interaction with internal teams, suppliers, and international clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and define the architecture and layout of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, and HVAC systems (e.g., condensers, evaporators)Coordinate technical development activities across all project phasesPrepare technical specifications (preliminary and final) and supplier documentationSelect appropriate materials, define dimensional and geometric tolerancesProvide technical support to CAD designers and verify functional, manufacturability, and installability aspects of drawingsPrepare and review technical documentation, including development test procedures and reportsMonitor project KPIs (CPI / SPI) and manage product configuration changesParticipate in technical reviews with clients and suppliersDefine test bench requirements and oversee development / acceptance testingRequired QualificationsMaster’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the aerospace or automotive sectorsSolid knowledge of aerospace design and qualification standardsFamiliarity with fluid dynamics principles and GD&T practices (e.g., ASME 14.5M)Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Working knowledge of CAD tools (preferably AutoCAD and / or CATIA V5)Familiarity with simulation tools such as MSC.Nastran, MSC.Adams, Matlab, Simulink is a plusFluent in English, both written and spokenStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environmentWillingness to travel occasionally, including international business tripsWhy join us?Personalized support to help you grow your skillsAn ecosystem that encourages you to step outside your comfort zoneThe opportunity to become a shareholderInvolvement in community and non-profit projectsA dedicated policy to support parenthoodFortil is committed to equal opportunity.
