An International fast-growing Independent Power Producer is looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in PV, wind, and BESS. The company specializes in the initiation, development, financing, construction, management, and operation of projects involving the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources (Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage). The company has operations in Israel and Europe (Western, Northern, and Eastern Europe) with a diversified portfolio of income-generating projects, projects during construction, and pre-construction stages, totaling over 2.0GW, with an additional 20 GW / 30 GWh in different development stages.
Responsibilities

Project Engineering Management involving external and internal stakeholders, consultants, and engineering companies.
Assist in defining solar PV design criteria to optimize costs and improve performance.
Perform solar resource assessments and energy production estimates using PVsyst and other tools.
Support technical aspects of procurement, including RFPs and contract negotiations with equipment suppliers and EPC/BoP contractors.
Assist in evaluating new investment opportunities through feasibility analyses and technical advisory.
Collaborate with departments such as Procurement, Business Development, Project Development, Construction, and Operations throughout the project lifecycle.
Support the improvement of internal processes.
Gain exposure to other renewable technologies such as Green Hydrogen.

Requirements

Experience in PV projects.
Strong understanding of PV design principles.
Experience with Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) – Advantage.
Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – Advantage.
Technical project management experience.
Experience in the contractual phase of renewable energy projects.
Familiarity with project development is preferable.
Experience with high voltage connections and substations is advantageous.
Proficiency in software such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Strong writing and presentation skills.
Pro-active, structured approach, capable of managing and coordinating external engineering teams and advisors.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams, and independently.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
