PRODUCTION SHIFT LEADER - NOGARA PLANT
Directly reporting to the Production Area Manager, the Shift Leader ensures shift/line production plan execution, providing products of defined quality, at optimal cost, by organizing team members and available assets. The Shift Leader ensures health and safety requirements according to law and in line with HSE policies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organizes work allocation on the line to ensure optimal production plan execution.
Organizes work in the shift to ensure regular preventive maintenance of the lines/systems/machines.
Ensures food safety requirements for finishing goods produced.
Ensures health and safety requirements according to law (Legislative Decree no. 81/10) and in line with HSE policies, guidelines and internal procedures, acting as the person in charge of the relevant production area (preposto).
Ensures and organizes problem‑solving sessions and related activities with team members and key stakeholders.
Ensures production plan execution in his/her shift (performance to schedule).
Ensures shift’s/ team’s KPIs delivery (SLE, Yields, GMP, etc.).
Prepares shift reports on time and according to agreed requirements.
Develops the right skill set for team members to perform their job effectively.
Clarifies responsibilities and objectives for team members.
Recognizes good performance and addresses poor performance quickly.
Supports and suggests continuous process improvements (suggests updates of the tools for processing operators’ suggestions and ideas).

REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Management Engineering or Technical Diploma.
Minimum 4 years of relevant production experience.
Previous experience in team management.
Understanding of food and beverage technology.
Good knowledge of maintenance procedures.
Good organizational & time‑management skills.
Knowledge of interpretation of policies, procedures, and systems in Manufacturing.
Problem‑solving skills.
Ability to set clear performance standards.
Ability to act as a positive leader.
Teamwork skills and mindset.
Willingness to experiment and try new ideas.
Good knowledge of English and Italian language.
