ABB E-mobility is transforming into a customer-centric, solution-led sustainable mobility company, aiming to position ABB E-mobility as a reliable partner and authority in the industry.In this role your main accountabilities will be:ABB E-mobility is seeking a Product Marketing Segmentation Lead for Public Transport to become a customer evangelist, helping us meet revenue targets by effectively demonstrating the value of our charging solutions to the market. As the Product Marketing Segmentation Lead for Public Transit at ABB E-mobility, you will play a pivotal role in driving success by strategically positioning and promoting our solutions globally in the Public Transit segment.You will be the product marketing solutions lead for all segment offerings, liaising with the product managers in EU and NA and translating this to customer-facing value and owning the success of our latest solution-led segment view.This senior role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, advanced product knowledge, ability to lead cross-functional efforts, and marketing expertise. The ideal candidate must be highly analytical and able to conduct sophisticated quantitative analyses, while also excelling at synthesizing and telling a captivating story to diverse audiences. Extensive experience managing cross-functional projects is essential. Experience with technology or the automotive industry is strongly preferred.Responsibilities include:Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for new charging solution launches and features, including sales enablement, promotional activities, and solutions roadmapsStrategic Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and segment solution-level narratives that align with our company positioning across our customer segmentsOwn the market specifications for Public Transit and sub-segments, bringing market and customer input to support product management in building the right productCommercial Responsibility: Collaborate with sales and business teams to build solution-focused offeringsCapture Strategy: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and emerging customer needs targeting high-value prospects and driving long-term business development strategiesCustomer Evangelism: Disseminate and evangelize our customer insights across the company, ensuring all teams are aligned with our customer-centric approachCross-Functional Leadership: Lead and support Sales, Marketing, and Product; train them on the problems we solve for buyers and users of our charger solutions and refine messaging and positioningContent Strategy: Inform the content roadmap with charger customer insights. Collaborate with the internal Integrated Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging across channels and to develop content for eventsTest and refine innovative marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiencesDefining business modelsDefine business metrics and measurement plan (OKRs)To make the above work, we are looking for a senior professional who has a strong understanding of product marketing principles, strategies, and tactics. Other essential requirements:8-12 years of proven experience in product marketing/product managementExperience within the Charging and/or Public Transit would be a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and compelling messagingDemonstrated experience in developing impactful marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, presentations, and web content based on previous product launchesProven ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams such as product management, sales, client success, and engineeringStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing Engineering, or a related discipline).
