OverviewThe Product Manager Digital Equipments is responsible for the digital solutions portfolio (including equipment, consumables, software, customizable productions for clinics and labs).Moreover the PM will define strategy, planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering product and customer requirements, defining and working closely with sales and other departments to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals.A strong interaction and collaboration with HQ product managers is requested to ensure flawless execution. The role interacts with professionals in public and private markets such as medical doctors, lab technicians, nurses and all relevant actors in the business and with the sales force to provide information on products, solutions, trainings and other Marketing related activities.The role requires the use of Video conferencing tools (such as Zoom, Teams meetings) and a company car for business related transfers.Responsibilities of the PositionProduct Management responsibilities of the assigned portfolioForecasting, lifecycle management, launch planning and communication plansBeing point of contact for HQ and Regional officeDefinition and implementation of marketing plans to meet customer needs while delivering Straumann Italy sales objectivesLaunching new products and defining the local plan to address specific market needsTracking business outcomes to enable refinements and continuous improvementCompetition understanding to implement mitigation plans when/where necessaryDevelopment, adaptation and implementation of marketing communication materialSupport to Sales force: providing technical and commercial trainings on products to internal staff and the sales force, including new hires, to ensure proper knowledge of products/solutionsDefinition and implementation of promotional plans in synergy with Sales and Sales OperationsTraining & Education: content and plan definition of the annual T&E activityLiaison with top customers and KOLsProduct Support and participation in congresses and local, national or international eventsCross functional and cross department interaction: coordinate actions with other Product Managers, Communication Manager, Training & Event teamCollaboration with other company departments to ensure the best and most effective executionOther Duties: Any other duties depend on business needsMinimum QualificationsStrong knowledge and clear understanding of the fundamentals of Product ManagementMinimum 5 years’ experience within large (global) medical devices / dental organisation working within project/product management role capacityExperience within the dental industry would be very much appreciatedProven ability to execute a marketing planExperience of working closely with large sales forces in medical devices/dental marketplaceGood analytical skills - evidence of ‘closing the loop‘ and measuring success of business initiatives and project managementGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to assimilate complex market data with qualitative inputs to arrive at fact-based, informed decisionsAbility to network and form strong business relationships with influential key opinion leaders and internal stakeholdersUniversity degree in Bio-Engineering or Business related disciplines; MBA degree is a plusMS Office knowledgeLanguage: fluent in EnglishTraveling is required up to 50%Work LocationCompetencies & SkillsCommitmentObjective / Results-orientedAnalytical and strategic thinkingTeamworkExcellent Communication skillsStress resistanceSpirit of InitiativePlanning skillsOutstanding analytical abilitiesAgilityProblem solving mindsetWork LocationMilan
