This position is responsible for managing, developing, and driving profitable business growth for the Taron Activated Sludge Filter product line. This will be a hybrid product management-business development role where the Product Manager will develop and execute the commercialization plan for this product line and combined solutions utilizing licensed technology from one of Xylem’s manufacturing partners. The business shall be operated as a highly agile startup within the treatment sector, driven by a commercial owner (this role) and a technical owner. It is essential that commercialization efforts begin in parallel in targeted emerging and developed markets with tailored offerings to meet market needs. The position holder is required to interact across the business to leverage existing resources and teams while managing a small core team to grow this new business.RequirementsMinimum of 10 years of experience in the water sectorExperience in a sales leadership, operations leadership, or product management roleFluent in English and Italian (written and spoken)Availability to travel approximately 30%, mainly within Europe and once a year to the USAExperience with biological processes is a plusAbility to work independently, take ownership, and drive actionExcellent communication and leadership skillsLocationThe main onsite work and training will be in Montecchio Maggiore (VI) and Rome.
