Job SummaryAs a Procurement Officer, you will be part of the Procurement team, reporting to the Global Procurement Manager for Europe & Africa. You will lead the creation and management of sourcing events and tenders in line with company standards, while developing deep category and supplier landscape expertise. You will be responsible for timely and accurate procurement of goods and services across assigned categories or technologies, including supplier negotiations, onboarding, contracting, and ongoing supplier relationship management to ensure optimal performance and value delivery. Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end procurement process ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and policy compliance.Plan and execute sourcing events and tenders in line with company standards; evaluate proposals based on requirements and budget.Identify and assess new suppliers, exploring opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and improved quality through market research.Lead supplier negotiations, onboarding, and contracting, ensuring compliance and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.Build deep category and supplier knowledge, maintain catalogs, and provide insights to improve procurement strategies.Support business units during budget planning by offering guidance on procurement needs, cost forecasting, and alignment with financial goals.
Qualifications and SkillsYour profile is a natural match if you have:Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.Experience: 3–5 years in procurement across a diverse range of goods and services, ideally within the renewable energy sector; experience in other industries and multinational environments is valued.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent organizational and project management abilities.Experience in the renewable energy sector is a strong plus.Skills: Fluency in English and Italian is required.Proficiency in procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Coupa) is a plus.Strong knowledge of market trends and supplier management best practices.
