You will ensure Axelera AI’s supply chain is robust, cost-effective, and aligned with our rapid growth and innovation goals. This role oversees the procurement of semiconductor components, PCBs, systems, and services across multiple suppliers and manufacturing partners, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate has solid experience in hardware or semiconductor procurement, with a proven ability to manage complex supplier networks and drive operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute procurement strategies for semiconductor components, PCBs, systems, and supporting materialsManage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery performanceCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Finance teams to align sourcing with business needsMonitor supplier performance, lead supplier audits, and drive continuous improvement initiativesIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity and resilienceManage procurement planning, purchase orders, and inventory coordination with logistics partnersImplement scalable processes, tools, and KPIs for efficient and transparent procurement operationsSupport sustainability and compliance goals across the supply chainRequirements7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within the hardware, semiconductor, or electronics industryStrong understanding of the fabless semiconductor supply model and hardware manufacturing ecosystemsProven experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimizationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent collaboration and communication abilities across technical and business teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP systems and digital procurement toolsFamiliarity with ISO standards, sustainability practices, and compliance in global supply chainsBackground in a high-growth or scale-up environmentLocationWe offer a flexible working arrangement, with options to:Work from one of our Axelera AI offices (Leuven, Belgium; Amsterdam and Eindhoven, Netherlands; Florence and Milan, Italy; Bristol, United Kingdom) if you are already based nearbyWork fully remotely from any European country (including the UK) you are inRelocate with us to work from Italy (Florence or Milan) or the Netherlands (Amsterdam or Eindhoven)What we offerThis is your chance to shape and be part of a dynamic, fast-growing, international organization.
