We focus on innovation, quality, and the development of long-term relationships with our strategic suppliers.By co-designing suppliers’ production process and the components we want, we guarantee the best-in-class quality, cost, and flexibility for our customers globally.What you’ll do:The Procurement Cost-Out – PL Care team is organized by major Product Architecture. This position reports to the Head of Procurement Cost-Out – PL Care. You will drive full cost optimization for Procurement (incl. Capex) together with all Procurement colleagues related to your specific Architecture. It is a truly cross-functional role, where you steer the cost-out program together with colleagues in other Procurement teams, R&D, Product Costing, and Product Line teams. The overall ambition is to optimize the product cost, leveraging all available procurement tools.In detail, you will:Develop deep product cost analysis and identify activities and related priorities, and represent Procurement on the cross functional team and own all related project deliverablesFollow insights on Product Cost development, areas of improvement in our Architectures and defining actions that needs to be conducted to reduce cost, including but not limited to product tear-downs, should-cost modelling, and identification of new Must-Win ModelsAttend project review meetings and communicate relevant information within Procurement, ensuring all deliverables are achieved on timeTrack the project progress, sourcing status, and other relevant information through a data-driven sourcing tool. Specifically, track implementation of cost-out actions after Sourcing Board decision, ensuring timely execution and countermeasures should delays occurInvolve internal stakeholders at early stage, aiming to create value through effective cost optimization projectsIdentify needs for Participate in Make vs Buy or Make vs Source analysis to optimize product and operation costs, and project manage the activities until the decision pointWork with the Category Management team to understand and deploy category strategySupport and coordinate RFQ’s, in cooperation with Category Management teamSupport preparations for Sourcing Board, in cooperation with Category Management teamSupport and coordinate supplier tooling quoting and ordering, in cooperation with Category Management teamWho you are:You possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering and/or have specialties in project management, product costing, lean manufacturing or other relevant areaYou have >5 years of experience in relevant Procurement or project management rolesYou have the ability to execute strategic initiatives that drive performance and have experience leading complex projectsYou have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with diverse individuals in cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentIt is beneficial if you have worked with Cost Modeling, Data Mining and possess advanced Excel skills with the ability to generate effective reports that manage large data sets.Also, if you have an understanding of lean manufacturing approaches and practical experience in driving lean manufacturing improvementsYou have an expectant, positive, proactive attitude and ‘can do’ spirit to drive change and can demonstrate a history of driving for higher business performance in a fast-paced environmentYou are capable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines with strong initiative and decision making, problem solving and analytical skills, with attention to details and accuracyWilling to travel up to 25% of the timeYou are fluent in English.Where you’ll be:You’ll be based in an international context in one of our Care Factory in Europe.Benefits highlights:Flexibility of work hours;Discounts on Electrolux products and services;As part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
