The Group has more than 1,800 employees located in 18 production facilities across Europe, North America and Asia.For our headquarter in Rubbiano (PR) we are looking for a goal-oriented, analytical, methodical, fast learning, proactive Process Engineer.ABOUT THE JOBThe process engineer develops the specific process based on customer requirements and assists other departments to assure that the production processes are performing properly, with respect to safety, quality, and output; assists in data collection and analysis, staff training, review and editing of documentation related to assigned projects.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESStudy part feasibility, define suitable technologies and calculate expected process times for cost calculation and quotationMachine or robot programming, process parameters set up and tuning, validation testing carry out according to NPI planNew technologies and equipment start up and validationMachine trouble shooting and RCA supportAnalyze processes data, equipment, materials to determine efficient manufacturing methods and process improvements according to 6s method and standard RCA toolsMonitor processes on a continual basis for continuing improvements and/or modificationsCoordinate activities of support personnel and manufacturing to resolve process problemsAssist in training operators on process awareness, monitoring and controlProvide process data as recommended for standard or experimental productsResearch equipment to source the most appropriate solutions by focusing on cost, flexibility and efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional development teams to bring new part concepts from ideation to productionAfter 6 to 12 months the candidate will be required to provide Gemba technical support with extra time and weekend availabilityEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, Physics (or any related field)1/2-year experience in Process or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred but not mandatory)SKILLSAbility to read technical drawings and specificationsStrong math skills and robot/machine programmingExperience with Solidworks/CAD CAM/ABB Rapid/Minitab/PowerBi/Excel preferredExperience with SPC, 6s and Lean manufacturing toolsAbility to analyze drawings, manuals, material specification and processes to design or improve a manufacturing methodProficiency with spreadsheets and word processing documentsExcellent communication skills with different team and managers, including verbal and written documentationAbility to implement compliance strategies at the plant level including data collection and traceability, compliance demonstrations and process changes necessary to assure compliance with applicable regulatory requirementsAbility to identify, scope, propose and implement capital improvement projects as assignedAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to present information and recommendations to customer and foster relationships with vendorsWORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.PHYSICAL DEMANDWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 15/20 kg.
