We provide product solutions and options to customers in more than 120 countries.A privately held, family-owned, and operated company, Kemin has more than 2900 global employees and operates in 90 countries, including manufacturing facilities in Belgium, Brazil, China, India, Italy, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, and the United States.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, review, and approve PFDs, P&IDs, batch cycle times, equipment/instrument datasheets, and specifications.Develop plant control logic.Be the main point of contact with plant supervision, providers, and E&I suppliers and contractors.Manage engineering firms and collaborate with construction managers to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.Approve equipment vendor selection and review submittal drawings.Inspect and approve field installations.Contribute to safety hazard reviews (HAZOP).Collaborate with the KI engineering group on projects, providing expertise, guidance, and recommendations on global projects as needed.QualificationsAutomation or electrical engineering university degree or high school diploma (diploma di perito tecnico).Highly interested in industrial process optimization.2-3 years of work experience in an industrial setting (food or life science industry preferred).Effective communication skills in Italian and English.Base location will be in Cavriago (Reggio Emilia).Highly Desirable:2-3 years of supervision software design experience (PLC, SCADA, Siemens TIA Portal).
