OverviewAmazon Process Assistant (Full-time) – This position requires in-role training at an operating site which will be 5+ weeks in duration. Training will be located 50+ miles away from the home site location. All travel accommodations for training will be booked and paid for by Amazon.RSR (Rural Super Rural) supports last-mile delivery operations to ensure customer satisfaction in remote areas. On the Road Process Assistants in Last Mile support delivery associates through each step of the delivery process and track delivery metrics; training all delivery associates in safety, compliance, and vehicle operation per local, state, and federal requirements.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the training of new Delivery Associates on how to drive and operate the vehiclesEnsure vehicle cleanliness and appearance is maintained to standard and captured via DA inspectionsEnsure adherence to dress code standardsAssist with production duties, train sort associates, and verify SOP complianceTrack and monitor performance including on-road ride-alongs to measure on-road quality, adherence to standards, and identify re-training and process improvement opportunitiesUnderstand workflow and daily production goalsEnsure all federal, state and local laws and requirements are followedCultivate and sustain a safe environment, high-quality customer delivery, professional driver experience and positive cultureReport all job injuries timely according to policy and procedureProvide direction utilizing independent judgmentEstablish trust and credibility by maintaining integrity, communications and professional demeanorKeep work areas clean and equipped with proper equipment and suppliesIdentify and address safety hazards within the work areaBasic Qualifications1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceHigh school or equivalentFlexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysCan lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork 40 hours/week, overtime as requiredValid and active driver's licenseAt least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification FilePreferred QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, and/or prior Amazon experienceDemonstrates problem solving and analytical skillsEffective written and verbal communication across organizational levelsHistory of meeting/exceeding departmental goalsExperience leading teamsAbility to provide direction using independent judgmentStrong organization and time management skillsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
