Overview
The Aspire Advanced Practice Provider is a vital part of our clinical staff in our mission to cure patients who suffer from allergies and sinus problems. They will deliver a memorable experience for our patients with each interaction, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction are top of mind. They will practice precision in providing allergy testing and treatment to patients 2 years old and above, share responsibility with the team to keep the clinic running smoothly, and exemplify integrity in all actions.
Locations & Schedule
Primary support at Westover Hills and Bandera clinics, with occasional coverage at New Braunfels, Alamo Heights, and Stone Oak. Clinic hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories focused on allergy and sinus conditions.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (allergy testing, sinus CT scans, pulmonary function tests).
Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, immunotherapy, and procedural recommendations.
Perform and assist with in‑office procedures:
Administration and supervision of allergy immunotherapy (SCIT and SLIT)
Nasal endoscopy
Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and medication use.
Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Document all patient encounters accurately in EHR within 24 hours of visit.
Oversee and manage food and environmental allergy testing (Percutaneous and Intracutaneous).
Provide pre‑op and post‑op evaluation for surgeon‑performed sinus procedures.
Build relationships with referring medical providers and local medical community.
Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship rep to market Aspire.
Adhere to standard metrics:
Testing: 50% minimum threshold
Treatment: 30% minimum threshold
IOP Conversion: 7% minimum threshold
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program.
Current Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred: experience with EMR/EHR systems.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to manually take vitals and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
