We are growing quickly and looking for bold ideas to transform how hundreds of organizations orchestrate their most critical processes.About The RoleValue Engineering is a newly established team focused on driving revenue growth by engaging stakeholders in business outcome discussions. Our core focus is supporting pre-sales pursuits to justify deal investments and expand opportunities, in partnership with Sales and Solution Engineering. We also periodically support post-sales pursuits to drive adoption & renewal, in partnership with Customer Success. While our goal is to engage with business stakeholders, we might initially interact with technical stakeholders as an entry point to reach their business counterparts.What You'll Be DoingBuild Camunda’s VE Services & Assets: as the 2nd hire to the VE team, help build foundational services, assets and processes. Develop standardized, reusable assets (service overviews, processes, financial models, sample deliverables); establish internal processes/tools (GTM reporting, VE request process, Value asset repository); assist onboarding of new VE team members.Evangelize and Drive Adoption of VE with GTM teams: continuously communicate VE services, informally coach account teams on VE, frame business outcomes with industry insight, and deliver quick wins that demonstrate impact and momentum.Deliver VE Services with Customers: drive revenue growth by engaging in business outcome-focused conversations; partner with account teams to identify VE opportunities; lead technical and business-focused VE engagements through research, workshop facilitation, process mapping and value analysis (ROI, NPV); develop executive-ready deliverables and present recommendations to stakeholders to secure buy-in.Be a trusted advisor: elevate Camunda’s value story, gain stakeholder buy-in, and guide business outcomes; deliver consistently in VE engagements; provide industry-focused POVs; influence stakeholders through a consultative selling approach; stay engaged post-deal to support long-term transformation.What You BringWork Experience: 7+ years in strategic consulting, pre-sales Value Advisory or leading business transformation initiatives in an industry.Management Consulting: Led engagements from discovery through delivery to identify transformation opportunities and build executive champions.Executive Engagement: Experience engaging with customer business stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams.Communication & Storytelling: Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, concise, compelling POVs; strong public speaking and workshop facilitation.Presentation & Asset Building: Craft executive-ready presentations that distill topics into structured narratives.Financial Acumen: Proficient in building financial models (ROI, NPV, TCO, value benefits, payback period).Industry Expertise: Understanding of industry landscape, value chains, and business processes in at least one industry.Nice-to-havesEducation: MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.Business Process Analysis & Improvement: Experience optimizing business processes (BPMI, design thinking).Sales Acumen: Experience shaping deal strategy and collaborating with GTM teams and partners.Role LogisticsThis is a remote role.Travel required up to 50%.Supports global sales pursuits, with emphasis on America and Europe.Flexible working hours to support customer engagements across timezones; preference for AMER and EMEA.Compensation & BenefitsWe offer competitive, fair, and transparent compensation. Salary ranges are location-based. The Annual Total Target Cash (base salary + 100% variable target, where applicable) spans from minimum in a Standard market to maximum in a Major market. Final offers depend on skills, experience, and location.United States: $230,900.00 to $381,000.00Germany: €149,200.00 to €246,800.00United Kingdom: £145,000.00 to £238,500.00Singapore: S$286,800.00 to S$430,100If you’re based elsewhere, you’ll be hired via Remote.com, with a personalized Total Rewards Calculator after your first interview.
