Experience in Project Cost Estimation is required; plant layout and piping experience are a plus. We target capital project execution in chemicals, refining, and EPC industry clients.Key traits of this role include industry understanding, deep consultative skills, knowledge of AspenTech's product strategy, and effective communication skills for both technical and management audiences. The Senior Principal SC is an experienced engineer who will work with clients to understand their challenges and initiatives, identify applications of our tools to address these issues, and collaborate with the sales team to drive adoption of our software solutions.Responsibilities:Determine and understand prospective clients’ critical business issues to present and demonstrate AspenTech’s software as the best solution.Identify solutions to improve customer profitability and capital project results based on your technical and industry knowledge.Analyse and present business benefit cases.Present technical product discussions.Manage and assist with awareness education campaigns, both on-site and online.Support software evaluations.Assist the sales team with planning to build the sales pipeline.Qualifications:BSc in Engineering or a related field.Experience in E&C, Energy, or Chemical industries.Cost Estimation experience, preferably with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator.Strong business acumen.Ability to manage discussions with technical contributors to VP-level managers, identifying improvements.
