Social network you want to login/join with:The Power Portfolio Specialist will report to Head of Portfolio Management and will be responsible of operating the dispatching of power portfolio for MET Energia Italia, with the view to minimise the balancing/flexibility risk associated to the company portfolio (sales and generation).The key responsibilities will be:To ensure that the dispatching activity takes place efficiently and profitably, leveraging on the market optimization instruments (MGP, MI, XBID). Direct P&L responsibility.To contribute to the set-up of the Power Operations IT SystemTo contribute in developing new methodologies for pricing potential new power plants (conventional and/or RES)To support the introduction of any new systems and processes that will foster the development of the company in this area, in alignment with MET Group IT standards and operational proceduresTo support the pricing activity to MET Energia Italia sales teams, as well any supporting activity to the company management that will be required.QualificationsABOUT YOUThe candidate will have a minimum of 3-year experience in a similar role in the Italian market, will have a strong mathematical and statistical background and a solid knowledge of the Italian power system regulation and of TSO operations.Self-motivation and focus on performance will be the key elements in the selection process.He will be required to be autonomous, reliable, open minded and ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities, as well as to be a team player and to interact with the other teams of MET Energia Italia. English language proficiency will be required. Knowledge of Python coding structure and language, and general coding skills will be a plus.
