The main areas of expertise available in the lab are molecular and cellular biology, functional genomics, biostatistics, and bioinformatics.Type of positionPostdoc position for 1 year, renewable for 3 years.Required or preferred skills· A Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related disciplines is mandatory·A consolidated experience in cell cultures and basic molecular and cellular biology techniques is required·A previous experience in tumor models and an immunology background will be preferred·Previous experience in the processing and/or analysis of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq) will be considered a plus·The successful candidate is expected to be highly motivated, capable of executing experiments independently·Good attitude to teamwork·Excellent communication skills and proficient English· Knowledge of the Italian language is mandatoryThe successful candidate will join Dr. Francesca Reggiani's team to clarify the complex transcriptional network priming Natural Killer anti-tumor immunity in TNBC patients. The project is a translational research study. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team with the collaboration of the Medical Oncology and Pathology Units of the AUSL-IRCCS Hospital. The project foresees the application of the state-of-the-art approaches in the study of tumor microenvironment and functional genomics, including CRISPR-based techniques, organoids, immune assays, ex vivo bioreactors, Digital-Spatial Profiling, and multi-parameter flow cytometry.The candidate will be responsible for patient sample handling and analyses, as well as developing novel functional assays to validate the NK role in anti-TNBC immunity.
